Helping young people seek assistance.

Raising Youth Awareness.

Read the Play is a youth mental health awareness program started by Kempe Engineering but since supported by the Geelong Cats, Bendigo Bank and others. Their program focuses on breaking down blockers known to be preventing young people from actively seeking assistance with mental health issues.

Pixeld was engaged to improve the perceived credibility delivered by it’s website. The program has strong ambassadors from local professional sporting clubs to capitalise on, and content creation was a core focus of ongoing marketing efforts.

Pixeld is proud to partner with such a great initiative, founded and run by Kempe Engineering. Especially since the program originated in Geelong and focuses on regional areas of Victoria.

Mobile friendly, goal focused.

The website was developed with three key personas identified. Young players, parents and sporting groups. Content and end points were developed for each persona to maximise the effectiveness of the website.

WordPress was chosen as the content management system to allow for easy content addition by the Read the Play team. Each piece of content is easily shared on social media channels by the reader.
