Digital Project Manager

At Pixeld, we build websites that don’t just look good—they work hard. Now we’re looking for a Digital Project Manager who can do the same.

Your mission? Keep digital projects running like a well-oiled machine—planning, organising, and motivating teams to deliver brilliant outcomes for our clients. But beyond wrangling tasks and timelines, you’ll also play a critical role in nurturing ongoing client relationships, helping them grow and evolve their websites post-launch, and spotting opportunities to create even more value.

You’ll work closely with our Web Director to ensure projects flow smoothly through the studio—clearing roadblocks, owning delivery, and making space for strategic thinking.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of digital projects (mostly websites), coordinating cross-functional teams including designers, developers, SEO specialists, and content creators.

  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships with existing clients—checking in, facilitating upgrades, gathering and prioritising requests, and identifying opportunities for enhancements or upsells.

  • Collaborate closely with the Web Director to keep the digital production pipeline smooth and efficient—taking the lead on day-to-day delivery so they can focus on the big picture.

  • Manage timelines, budgets, tasks, and scope with confidence and clarity.

  • Translate business goals into project plans that align with client needs and expectations.

  • Identify and communicate risks early, problem-solve effectively, and adjust plans as needed to keep things on track.

  • Help continuously improve our project processes, tools, and team communication.

  • Stay curious—on top of digital trends, tech shifts, and better ways to do great work.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re eligible to work in Australia.

  • You’ve got 3+ years of experience managing digital projects in an agency or web environment.

  • You’ve seen website projects through from concept to go-live—and beyond.

  • You’re a natural communicator, able to build trust with clients and lead with clarity and empathy.

  • You’re proactive, organised, and can work autonomously without dropping the ball.

  • You’re great at balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping your cool.

  • You genuinely care about delivering great outcomes and building long-term client relationships.

Bonus points (aka the cherry on top):

We don’t expect you to tick every box, but experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or HubSpot CMS

  • UX/UI design principles

  • Agile, Scrum, or EOS methodologies

  • A basic understanding of SEO and web analytics

  • Experience with project tools like Asana, Trello, or similar

Why Pixeld?

We’re a lean, focused digital team that values autonomy, trust, and great communication. You won’t be micromanaged—you’ll be empowered to take ownership of your work and supported by people who care. You’ll get to work on websites you’re proud of, with clients who value what we do. And your input will actually help shape how we evolve our project delivery.
